The Mirror

I stare into a mirror

And hate what I see,

A reflection of a worthless girl.

 

I touch the mirror...

 

I know I can never be happy

Like everyone else,

Just someone that no one wants.

 

The mirror shatters...

 

I can never find love,

I will never be loved,

My heart died long ago.

 

Pieces of me scatter...

 

I gave up on love,

He gave up on me,

So I gave up on life.

 

The sharp edge of the shattered mirror...

 

If there is no love,

And that is what I live for,

What reason is there to be alive?

 

Blood pours as pain fades...

 

A few more seconds...

 

Is all it takes...

 

For the pain to end...
