A hostage named GraceA Poem by Bladecatcherno smiley face icons hereshe came weeping through the in door a child was sleeping momentarily, before she heard it creeping inside her head thoughts to be dreaming (were)acted out instead they say sins are worth living dying's for the dead... a bitter whistle echoed through then a reverb off the flowered walls the petals seem to shimmer to a bell of impending doom bridled by the one's she loved grace a girl we never knew.. a simple life on cobblestones hostage to her family working with her back so broke glimmer in her eye for hope pained by fear of the unknown harboured by a sullen guilt persecuted, will she float? the currents strong ,she surely won't be careful what you dream of girl be careful where you sleep outside it's not so warm when you're alone the world beyond is far and wide take this psalm and wish away blow a kiss upon the sky catch a glimpse your morning star grace a god so ever high drapery adorns this mantle fragile flowers in her hair vanilla scented candles burn silhouettes into the air sacrament of holy wine she hums a song some never heard a chorus etched into my heart it pains me on the wintry eve singing songs we never sang doing what we'd never done sharing what was to be shared and sometime near the tears begun the threat of delirium the hammer cocked, the barrell points on the stairs of the spire, the sun set grace was a girl we never knew
