Broken Promises

             Broken Promises

 

As I open my eye's from darkness to light
from this sleep I had last night
My eye's gaze upon your beautiful face
A face that reminds me of a golden sunrise
that's fresh as a breath of air with a morning dew
So softly lit sprinkling beautiful rays of love over everything

I remember your smile
A smile so bright it can light the world
A kiss so soft an sweet
when its time to go to sleep
I can't wait for our lips to meet

How you are always there for me
thru thick and thin, you've never been slack
and have always had my back

Never once have you put me down
when I wasn't holding it down
I remember the look in your face
when you use to say

Stop worrying things will be fine
What's MINE is YOURS
What's YOURS is MINE

How you carry yourself so sweet and sexy
yet know one would know
how tired you are from always being on the go

There is no better woman any man can ask for then You!

As you're awakening
the morning glow shines thru the window
it lights up your face and what a vision it is,
I can see the stars sparkle in Ur beautiful eye's
and that your spirit needs me to fulfill my promises.

I promised to fill Ur soul with never ending love
when you feel empty and your spirits are low

I promised to be the man of your dreams
the one you searched for all your life

I promised to be a man of quality
one that provides for you and protects you
Even if I didn't have much to give
I promised to give all of me to my last breath

I promised to grew with you in life
never leaving either of us behind

I promised to always remind you
how beautiful you are at all times

 

I promised to always love you to life
and to never love you to death
for Life well forever be GREATER then death.
To desire you sets fire to my soul

I promised that Nothing and No one
would ever stand or come before you
Except God

I promised to be your friend as well as your lover
to make love to you like no other man could
For some people make love for the moment
I want to make love to you for a Life-Time.
I promised to lend a Ear when you needed someone to talk too
and a shoulder to lean on when you needed to cry.
To be your King and treat you like the Queen you are,
A precious rare jewel that all the kingdoms in world would cherish

So I ask you

Please find forgiveness in your heart
let me to be the man I said I would be

Allow me to make good on every Promise that I made
I want to be the man I was
when we met once again

You see I lost my way
and almost my soul
I got wrapped up in my own world and forgot about you
Yet you never once forgot about me
My beautiful Queen

Let me honor you by honoring my word
fixing my mistakes
For I am a man of my word
and promises are meant to be kept

Please allow me to keep mine!
