LostA Poem by MeaninglessWordsA piece about how I feel in life right now.I travel through life
and time, wandering aimlessly. I wander aimlessly
along a lonely road, though I am not alone. I shuffle along among
others who hopelessly wander, all of us casting glances at the branching paths,
though the paths remain untouched. Others don’t wander,
they just stand still and stare down the roads and paths longingly, never
taking a step forward, growing older and withering away. I hope to never
become one of these people, but here I find myself no longer wandering, but
staring down the road, my skin begins to shrivel before I know it, my bones
become brittle and I begin to decay, falling to the wind as the wasted dust I
have become. © 2013 MeaninglessWords |
