Himalayan Snowflakes Explain the Meaning of the Moon to a Mountain

Himalayan Snowflakes Explain the Meaning of the Moon to a Mountain

A Poem by Hawkmoon

himalayan fractal, containing ten million snow leopards:

where the white road is like a cloud,

unfolding in playing cards through the philosophers daydream,

rain that falls in spades and hearts,

clubs and diamonds,

until the night explodes in the blinding logic of gamblers

to drunk

to find the floor,

an inverted mountaintop

arriving in the brain

where there are ten million snow leopards

whose names

will go unwritten, but coded in the snowflakes

as the clouds

explain themselves to the Planetarium

day by day,

a million astronomers gasping at the darkness

full of Names.
