Somnus Per Atrum

Somnus Per Atrum

A Poem by Nexus
"

getting back into the writing groove after an incredibly long time away. just something small I wrote recently. :)

"

With the moon on high and my mind at sea
time to rest, to dream a dream
and as this train heads toward the station
time to step to a platform of elation
of drifting thoughts, and impossible things
of all the tiding’s slumber brings
so good night, good luck
good 'morrow, good bye
I'll return again when the sun hit's my eyes.

I've noticed you tend to use apostrophes where they are not needed. For instance, in this poem, the line "I'll return again when the sun hit's my eyes", "hit's" shouldn't have the apostrophe. It should just be "hits". Not a big deal, but it's good to be aware of. :)
