The Dove

The Dove

A Poem by Nexus
"

Love love love love love...

"
Love is but a fragile dove
nested high among the tree's
it never beckons, never calls
never pays much mind to me.

I always stand below it's reach
watching from afar
lifeless as it spreads it's wings
and soars among the stars.

yet, maybe I'll get noticed
maybe it will see
that i'm right here, ever waiting
and fly on down to me.

I have come to find that when you're not looking for something, it ends up finding you.
and vice versa.

love's like that.

Don't Worry,
I'm apart of the waiting list too

Great Piece (:

I have read somewhere that getting someone to love you is like coaxing a bird to perch on your finger. Perhaps, that explains the seemingly difficult and incomprehensible nature of love. I like the simplicity. it makes this piece so beautifully written. I enjoyed this.
