Forget AllA Poem by LovecraftWishing to Forget everything.
I prefer to Forget All, a choice to be numb,
A chance to erase all that torments me, A past that haunts me, consumes me. Memories sidled on the edge of consciousness, hiding, Waiting to be rediscovered within my mind, teasingly, But I remove myself from this equation, just trying, To Forget All. The ghosts prevent me from moving on, From deleting my past from my hard-drive, They flit among the chaos that composes My mind. I can't rid them of my soul nor mind, For they are the past reminders, Of all I had ever done and seen.
