Soul Crusher

Soul Crusher

A Poem by Lovecraft
"

I'll leave it to interpretation.

"
I cannot bare my soul to you,
For nothing remains to show anew.

My soul is a thing that is numb,
To seek it would surely be dumb.

For if you in folly touched it
you would find only nothingness.

Tis meaningless to uncover
something which does not exist.

So continue searching if you dare,
For there is nothing I can bare.

I know it's very short, but I haven't decided if I should expand or edit it yet. Let me know if I should. Feedback appreciated.

I do now, but this was a relatively early one. We are our own worst critics.
