Maybe

Maybe

A Poem by Amberlynn Kaye

I used to believe a simple smile could brighten the day
That there was believe in every word someone had to say.
That just maybe thier intentions werent a bunch of lies.
And they cared when someones happiness ups then dies.
But through time I begin to see,,,to understand.
That no matter wat, somewhere there will always be tainted land.
I fight for all the reasons that make me who I am.
To seek out truth an at the same time tries not to give a d**n.
But one can only go so far until the light finally comes to a fade.
In the end its sometimes a good life, sometimes a bad that we made.
But through every beggining there is life that is given,
And through the heart, its a life knowledged and driven.
So I can look up and wonder wat I should already kno.
And continue to fell constantly down an low,
Or I can look to a new path an begin a new,
And take on that challenge, and every other, to.
