Happy Ending

Happy Ending

A Poem by Amberlynn Kaye

I look at you, still I fail to understand. What is,,,a savior? Someone who protects you? Saves your life? When I look at you, it means someone who saves me from loneliness. You smile at me, laugh with me. And twirl your fingers through my hair. I tell you, "Im more than a girl, im more than a a bird, someone who is free and still cant fly." Your response was the simple rub to my cheek and a look in your eyes.
Is there more to a life with value and a breath. Or is so much more than a superman story. Fantasy's enter our heart and exit through tale. A perfect fantasy, is me and you standing lips an inch apart. Dancing in the wake of a twister of leaves. Our song a mixture all the same. Both searched, both here in one anothers arms. Silent to the rest of the world as you take my hand and my waist and continue to move in perfect harmony. Your gaze with mine, laughter feels the air as you put your hand to my cheek you say, "Clouds of blue, flowers of beauty, you surpass them all. I found you, at last I found you,,,," And your lips planted to mine and the sorrow filled heart goes up in peace and I fade within your virtue. Never letting go, never regretting the man you are. Or the fact im alive.
"I love you." I tell him over and over as he pulls me closer. His heart in sync with mine. Telling my body he feels the same in a stronger language....
