Galileo and You

Galileo and You

A Poem by BlackBirds Echo

I visited Galileo
went swimming with plankton
blue glow within the ocean
tears fall like dying stars

I'm always running to
see the beauty in this
world as
my mind wanders home

you are the howling winds
roaring through barren branches
the ghost of you is trapped
inside my headlights

As I drive away
