Natures Way

Natures Way

A Poem by BlackBirds Echo

The thunder roars
like the mighty
Lion that prances
high in the sky

The lightening
cuts clear like a sword
made of steel
As it flashes so
quickly, by and by

The rain lashes down
like whips over the ground
Then the darkness
descends
So eerie and silent

But after the storm
Comes a stillness and calm
And a smell like fresh flowers
That's been crushed in your palm

The rain drops are glistening
and the sun rays shine
Like crystals

And once again
All the peace reins

dear Sarum... I love the Lion's roar high
in the sky....the sound of thunder.
The calm after the storm... the fresh
smell of flowers being crushed in the
palm of your hand. Beautiful poetry
From an English garden.
truly entranced... Pat

What a gorgeous nature write this is. Vivid imagery sprang to life in every line. Made me feel serene! Lydi**
