She flies with her own wings

She flies with her own wings

A Poem by Laura Lynn

She flies with her own wings

Admittance, widow, to the ends of the earth,
Brunt law barricading this indecision.
Repeal fakeness, some people are not fake just unreadable.
Omitting what a person did not want publicized, that is good.
Grateful and whole, we must see what to illuminate and bring to the fore.
Adorable things, cuteness, but also horror and destruction: the yin and yang.
Travel agency girl, she is not a fake angel, this Oregon girl,
She flies with her own wings.
Impossibile,
Off-chance,
Nonreturnable, and
Entrepreneurial.  All the things I want to be also.

Abuse is relative or terrible or a very vague abstract term.
Broken promises are just a matter of a day.  It was better to move on, I am grateful.
Unreadable, some wish to be unreadable, when turning a deaf and a blind eye so it is.
Saunas in the Netherlands, the deep freezing winters, still we can heat ourselves,
Aesthetic consideration becoming how many stripes to weave and into what shapes,
Replenishing energy with simple, puritan skills, old traditions,
Emulating what came before and how to reinvent wheels.

Advertisers are hawking their wares, but not without prices; not dealing with
Blank checks, but specific numbers.
Upgrade for new lawns in place of already new lawns? Perhaps it is out of fear or
Suitable boredom.
Illegal pilfering becomes a hazy line.  When we are here and we are guests and no
Ventriloquist is there to introduce us to his puppet.
Offhand, I become hard: impatient, unappeasable.

Abusive, irritated, frustrated with the lack of time for conquering the world.
Blending in with the scenery is the specific refractory, revealing the duped,
Upholstery the only consolation in this duped world with its duped capabilities.
Superstitious to the core, let’s raise our hands to the roof, the ceiling,
Odds and ends become a rote of chore, going through a drawer.

Hey, I like this poem a lot. People who get into the habit of expressing their beliefs poetically may soon find that their thoughts are harmonious. More power to your poetry! :)

An insightful, wry and well-balanced abstract line. And I love the depth of insight with the line below.

Repeal fakeness, some people are not fake just unreadable.
Omitting what a person did not want publicized, that is good.
