Climbing leaves

Climbing leaves

A Poem by Laura Lynn

A qualification of letters

Belongs to us or our betters.
In slips of paper
Long-distance caper
Is a mess for credits in tatters.

Travel therefore to the canyon,
A qualification southwestern.
Taxes preserve land
Synonymous sand,
In practical fine-spun fiction.

Ombudsmen of national treasures,
Notice the passing of transfers.
Expenses covered,
Abyss monitored,
Believers have taken their ledgers.

In postulate flexion gamin,
Sex changes hands with saffron.
Some would rather trade
Oregano for jade.
A habitable dining kitchen

Belies the purpose of grocers,
Invests in the living of growers.
The grocer just wants
A fine restaurants.
Be gigglers, gaffers, and gammers.

Intolerable poetic bleakness
Loves its sister-brother blindness.
Emotional escape.
Ah! What a landscape!
Herbaceous, painless cactus chorus.
