Let it be forever

Let it be forever

A Poem by Laura Lynn

Let it be forever

An old regime, how I feel just now,
Bit by bit torn apart with urbane thoughts  too
Apathetic, the accordion blinds,
Troubleshooter windows,
Emulating troubleshooter commuters.
Admittance to this house is bought with
Blood, the dog has bitten. The cat has
Bitten the head off of a chipmunk.

Admonished old biddies, he said, he
Curried the people when he was able
Cursing others for his own sake.
Instantaneous potato, the flakes
Adulation, given a box and a thousand
Troublemaker labels.
Obtainable syllable, what is it but it?
Aerodynamic paper airplanes,

Bitterly folded, or newly, a newer life folding.
Bizarre bazar, how bizarre, she didn’t like me,
Adoring what she knew, what she loved, not
Conjunctivitis or pink eyes.  What I would love,
Conjured up in the frozen window of a year,
Home-loving, trying to foster a home, why is this
Intrusion happy?  Or is it unwanted, undesired?
Overalls the farmer wore, why?  What for?

what is it all for? why care about newness, it just becomes oldness sooner than later...and all the bizare instances in life become paper airplanes that fly away without effect...

and now there is no home for the heart...just a transient foster home.
