If I can stop one heart from breakingA Poem by Laura Lynn"If I can stop one heart from breaking, I shall not live in vain." ~Emily Dickinson.
A girl caught in a trap, a man so much older now, a woman, they all had to leave each other
Behind, but it wasn't unpleasant, or was it? Why is nothing exciting for each person as it ought to be? Bright lights at night to keep us going, we had so much to keep us awake and not tired. We wanted Ice for our machines. What does it mean for a heart to break? What does it mean to keep a heart from breaking. Glide over the ice this winter, you will find yourself happier. We should be happy, to tell a story or not, he believes Lies, even the other man's lies, even his own. There is no one in the world I love and so I cannot rescue anyone. I only want to write my heart out here, and you can break it. It has been broken so many times. I am happier, older. And I don't know what to ask everyone to do that I meet. I don't want to ask anybody anything I just want to write. My problem, our problem must be that Florida must believe in God because it trusts in him; and so do I. Please Eagle, when you see God up there, tell him I was looking for him and thought we could speak to him; others pray, Now we hear what they are thinking when they speak to us, and say something from a distance as though he cared. Tomorrow I will care and I will not care. I will try to do something that is aware. Oh, I am ill prepared. There is much work to do and I have not done it. I will not be invited to the wedding. © 2014 Laura Lynn |
