Who rules besides?

Who rules besides?

A Poem by Laura Lynn

Rex, tyrannosaurus rex won't rule there
expanse of trees or Magazine Mountain,
introductions, Arkansas, introductions?
so many people are a bright force

enveloped by the strong sunlight or
new Clark and Clinton, Walton, Fullbright;
intriguing people, a powerful sector
see them catfish on Ouachita River

the junglefowl, hunting duck flyaway deer,
growing a car part for an ear, a diamond
ensign, I do not adore you but let me see,
recycled, rivaled...take us to this

environs, the spiral states ignore this
improvident nation of nations, so I could
suffer someone locked into eternal nights,
theoretically, physically separate

i like this landscape poem...we can look at mountains...and see what's there now...and see what was there then...nothing rules the land, i believe in the end, the land rules us...we are at its mercy, and how we treat it will come back twofold...

a very interesting and abstract write...will be thinking about this one for awhile..
