Insuperable obstacles

Insuperable obstacles

A Poem by Laura Lynn
"

If you're trying to achieve, there will be roadblocks. I've had them; everybody has had them. But obstacles don't have to stop you. If you run into a wall, don't turn around and give up. ~M. Jordan

"

Tremendous

Passionate but unfaithful lovers, why so?
Rooks flock about the girl prevailing; not
Obstructing nature but living with slow
Deliberation.  She makes the horse trot.
Insuperable obstacles the hero sought.
Glumly waiting for the quest to begin,
I begin again wondering where to sin.
Ornamental trees are not large. Earshot
Strictures of whirring gunshots harrow
Organic memories of hallowed orchard hollow.

I like this piece, good rhyming scheme and good vocabulary! The mood/tone set by this piece is one of thought and wonder, well done!
