Entrance

Entrance

A Poem by Laura Lynn

Enter here.  My horrible, poor skin.
N
onviolent in my body I feel
T
hankful for treadmills, though I am not thin;
R
ice for dinner.  Not turkey but a meal.
A
cquisition of whatever I could
T
opple, like a pine tree, just for lumber.
A
crylic paintings replicate the wood,
E
loquent sylvan scenes.  Hummel’s wonder.
P
erforated stamps to mail off arrest
U
njust ignorance.  Surely I must leave.
R
epaint the house brother for us.  You’re blessed!
A
djustable office chairs.  Grant reprieve,
R
epair my ego.  Now it is renewed.
E
lsewhere the planet carries on reviewed.

really like the line "Perforated stamps to mail off arrest"
normal is good...perfect is a product of unjust ignorance...egos are unjustly crushed when we aren't what others think we should be...
looks on the inside count more...
i feel good about me, don't care what others think...the rest of the planet can review...i live and let live.
