Method to the Madness

I'm wondering if this method of writing is a bit weak; what results is incomplete and experimental. There are some lines with possibilities, but the intension is in the acrostic.

Method to the Madness

EASTER
Please wait for the morning, you’ll
Avert your eyes when you see this
Shelled egg, you’re not hungry for.
Confidants are for select Juliets.
Harbors keep waves at bay, fares
Avid for landmarks and sightseers.

EASTERLY
Mariam’s prayers are a diet plan,
Imposture is unfamiliar to her. 
Thunderbolts hail down from good

Samaritan skies when rules break.
Reclining in Adirondack chairs, my
Aunt grilled shish kebabs for our
Cousin visiting from up North. Be
Harbingers on the cutting edge.
Impotence of will, a fear of failure.

EASTERN
Michelle dreams of a far off land.
Impotent are many of my plans,
Thoroughbreds beyond my reach,
Salutatory blue morning glories
Reclaim the pumpkin grove with
Avocado purchases.  Strange tides,
Creatures here would destroy.
Harassment is unheard of, just
Imprecation for ignorance, a plant.

EASTWARD
Mired zombies walk without jobs,
Impractical percentages, off kilter.
Thorough homework served its
Salubrious purpose. Question all.
Resiliency of plan and body is our
Avocation: a yoga pose, a study in
Cuneiform, silly language with no
Hard feelings.  We lack dreams: I
Avoid certain household routines.

EASY
Cumulus clouds puffy and white
awake a sense of castled destiny.
Lord it over queens, servant, I am

EASY
But not desirable.   All men are
Eager to learn.  If we accomplish
Cuticle perfection could we
Awaken admiration from the viscount/
Lordship? A strange idea like
Utopia and science fiction, new
Thumbnails for speed, if you
blindly use such software. Graphic
Etchers cannot be artists only,
Not usually and you lose purpose.
Avowed that this method is like
Confetti for birthdays, opposite of
Eternal, meant for one occasion.
Lorries on the wet, rainy highway.

EASY CHAIR
Custard kept us housebound. Car’s
impounded.  The nurse brings us a
Salver of meat, times goes by
Except here is what is happening:
Thunderclouds are forming, many
 
Nonplussed citizens stand back
Open to suggestion for leadership.
Avoidable tasks, we race through
culinary wars; five minutes a slave,
Happenstance stands in for plan.

oh my goodness, what a ride!!.. did an exercise once on writing whatever came to mind within fifteen minutes.. trying to get to 500 words.. was suggested by friend of mine on here.. challenge was called write or die.. it was timed and had website and everything.. and the places my mind went.. and the things that came out.. makes me wonder if there was a method to the madness.. it made me giggle and looking back love the results.. some of the other people in the group had equally entertaining results.. the flow was enchanting and some of the lines in here made me scratch my head while others made me giggle for real.. well done.. first piece of yours that I have read, and makes me want to read more.. good job!
