Contented

Contented

A Poem by Laura Lynn

CONTENTED
Molasses is a slow type of sugar, deep and wise,
Evermore diabetic as each high glycemic comestible.
Remittance for bakeries, let’s figure out how to cook.
Unprovoked hot-cross buns, something we don’t bake.
Treaty of Marie Antoinette, dolling out Challah for
summertime sadness and intolerable trivia, trivial yet
egalitarian everydayness.  Just quotidian, just just.

i like the analogy of contentment to molasses...molasses is slow...deep, sweet....

good love is the same, contentment allows us to think in the moment...slow down and understand...love that ending.."...just just"

this poem, just good.
