Prize result of bounty

Prize result of bounty

A Poem by Laura Lynn

LIBERALITY
N
eutered pet, the scared animals, too
E
xcitable, perhaps too liberal with saliva.
D
iscoloration to plastic and fabric happens,
I
nflammable as the cloth may be still the sun
V
etoes the new hues as though there could be
U
nlisted colors, heretofore unknown to man.
T
etrahedrons may be drawn and animated,
L
et up on the reins, the mare is tired, I thought
E
xchangeable for a stallion, but I didn’t think them
V
exatious either male or female except when excited.

BOUNTY
P
hotogenic, the prize goes to the lady
r
eveling in her fine height and all her fine bones.
A
voidable, she is too lovely for commonplaces,
S
yllabic enunciation might be just the thing for her,

K
erosene devastation at the forefront of her mind.
A
vowals, we openly declare whether or not we’ve that
S
yllogism"every virtue’s laudable, kindness is a virtue...
P
hotoelectric effects, light changes course.
I
sthmus, not Christmas, but which would you prefer?

BOUQUET,
T
he flowers were gathered up for all of us, not fancy but
S
ycophancy, it was that I suffered from, (or with.)
E
xcitability also, for I was young and unused to so much
R
evelation, or lack thereof.  Why is it a dog that fawns?

BOURBON
B
oiler’s in the basement, and I have this sauce pan,
U
ndaunted every morning I boil this water for tea,
R
hapsodizing in the spare moments about nothing,
B
ooklets strewn about the room, nothing in particular
O
nto my feet shuffling around like some folk dancer…
N
ethermost hill in the distance, those are the foothills.

BOURGEOIS
B
osom"it is here that all our intimate feelings are held,
U
nctuous our molecules, floating around, surfing fat;
R
heumatic, now I can worry about old age, I still have
G
uava of the myrtle family.  I can pretend to be rare,
A
vid, but really I can’t be reserved, but be scared, and
Networking may save us.  There’s a good type of war.
I
nferior is a mean word isn’t it? Let’s not be so.
