WE * OUR * US
There are so many ways to say: I love you
Some are subtle while others more profound
I notice the quiet ways you say: I love you
Whenever you use three particular pronouns
Because they're small they are often unheard
The rewards make them worthy to discuss
As you speak I absorb each syllable and word
You say "I love you" with We, Our, and Us
Important members of your loving parade
So glaring when I make the effort to see
It enhances your beautiful serenade
Music to my ears when you say:
WE
The smallest drops in a rain of pleasures
Adding density to the ecstasy shower
Tiny pearls in a chest of treasures
Soaking riches when you say:
OUR
Part of the gifts from your happiness train
Joy's too numerous for a truck or a bus
No room to storage sorrow or pain
Satisfaction fills when you say:
US
A whisper of love that is loud and undisputed
The rewards make them worthy to discuss
Declaring the intention of having me included
You say "I love you" with We, Our, and Us
