Your eyes

Your writing

Your fears

You

All of what you are

Is what makes you, you

I know you may hate your self

But your personality is what made me your friend

I'm a hard person to please

I just use a mask

But you made me your friend by being you

So please,

Don't ever change

Your words show me sadness

That I wish to remove

Your messages show me happiness

That I know is not true

You say you are fine

You say you are happy

But, please

Do not lie

Tell me the truth

I know that you are hurting

 know that you are crying

I know that you are slowly dying inside

So tell me with your words

What is blocking you from your happiness?

What is killing you inside?

You can come to me

You can talk to me

You can tell me anything

I'm not here to judge 

I'm not here to knock you down

I'm here as your friend

I'm here as a shoulder

I'm here for you

Good poem about friendship. I keep thinking the poem puts it in a nutshell. Friends who are pretenders have nothing to offer. Friends, like the friend 'Anonymous' writes about in "I'm here" are hard to be found
