Even Closer

He smiled, looking at me as he set me on the ground. "Well, I'm bored, and I wanted to talk to you in person at least once today." He explained, and He sat down. I sat in front of him, and he scooted up to where our knees were together. I looked at him, thinking he was pretty cute for a guy.
"Do you have a girlfriend?" I blurted, and he looked surprised. Thank God it was dark so he couldn't see my face turning red.
"No, do you?" He asked, and I shook my head.
"How was work?" I asked, making some small talk. We chatted about nothing as I stared at his gorgeous eyes and wished I could get even closer to his body and warmth. He scratched my knee, touching mine and making slight sparks run through my body. We started to talk about more important things, and I asked him about that time he called me when he was suicidal.
"Yeah, that was me depressed. Sorry if I freaked you out." He said, drawing his arm slightly back. I grabbed it and turned it over, seeing multiple deep red marks on his forearm.
