Surprise

I looked around and sighed heavily. Maybe I like Lane. Emmie was probably right. I never really liked the girls, and I surrounded myself with guys all the time. I thought about Lane, chewing my lip. Lane was pretty nice to me anyway. I guess I may feel something for him. He is pretty cute too with his longer black hair and soft green eyes that looked open and sweet.
I ate dinner as mom went to work, and I thought about Lane all morning and night. He was clouding my mind and making me miss him. I couldn't get him out of my mind, and all I wanted was to see him. Maybe even talk about this with him. No, Lane probably has a beautiful girlfriend somewhere. I sighed out of self pity and sulked up my stairs to my room.
I woke up to Lane's call and answered the phone. "Hey! Come look out of your window!" He shouted, and I raced over to my window, seeing him standing there with his phone. He waved, and I hung up, opening the window and climbing out.
"What are you doing?" I whispered as I dropped down.
