"We shouldn't go any further." I said breathlessly. He pulled back, his bedroom eyes blazing. Wow, he's as turned on as me.
"Are you sure?" He asked, and I nodded. Why wasn't I grossed out? Did I like my best friend? I wanted to take it all the way, but I knew that wasn't a good idea. Not for us right now. Especially since we're both drunk and along with alcohol, you make bad decisions. I laid back on the bed, getting off his lap. He looked at me, opening his mouth then closing it again. What should I do? I wondered, and I looked at him in a different way. I knew he was always hot, but he was hot in a better way now. I looked at him and leaned in. I kissed him once, and he smiled widely.
"We should take a nap. I still feel awful." I said, and he nodded his agreement. We covered up, and he put his arm around me. I closed my eyes and leaned into him, enjoying the warmth and company. I laid there for a while, loving the feeling of sleeping by someone again. I had been single for too long.
