Emmie's Guidance

It was a good morning text, and I sent one right back to him. My home phone rang, and I grabbed it before my mom woke up and yelled at me. "Hello?" I asked, hearing a weird noise in the background.
"Hey, it's Emmie. Meet me outside. I'm really bored, and we can play together." She said, and I accepted the invitation. I walked to our little secret base, and I heard music playing softly. I saw her auburn curls, and she motioned for me to hurry. "Thank god you showed up. I'm so bored. So, what have you been up to?" She said, and I smiled.
"Well the guys came to my house around midnight last night, and we snuck to the train tracks. I got caught in the track and almost got hit when a guy named Lane showed up." I explained it all along with the weird feelings and car ride. "Why would I be feeling that?" I finally asked, and she thought for a minute.
"The only thing I can think of is that you like him more than a friend." My jaw dropped. Could I possibly have a crush on a guy? "Maybe you should kiss him."
