The Rushing Winds of My Heart

The Rushing Winds of My Heart

A Poem by Shikon Akuma Ookami

The Rushing Winds of My Heart
Calm winds pass me by whispering
leaves push me to the direction I should go
people call my name
the clouds above me move to the east
while the storm pushes me to the west
my mind tugs me every which way
while my heart stays in a hard concealed case
my body moves with the water that flows in the east
while my spirit runs wild into the west
winds pass me again this time louder
leaves fly above my head and a smell so familiar passes me
warmth surrounds me in a veil of light
and a voice whispers in my ears so soft and soothing
when I turn I see nothing I feel nothing and hear nothing but the wind pushing me
foot steps are imprinted on the sands
I follow willingly and find myself in a warm place so bright and beautiful
The voice re-enters and the soft touch of a hand holds me tight
In this world I feel free
In this world I can breathe
And in his arms I find peace
you are my heaven you are my hell
you are my will you are my soul
Im with you till the very end
you've shown me so many things I only wish to repay you
my heart is real my heart beat is real and I will always be here
♥ with love ♥

My source of inspiration would be from the amazing Animes I watch, and Mangas I've read. One piece is by far my favorite. I learn something new every episode that's helped guide me in both writings an.. more..
