Pleasantly Painful

Pleasantly Painful

A Poem by WynterPhoenix
"

"Pain and death are part of life. To reject them is to reject life itself." - Havelock Ellis

"

Thank you, for the pain.

It drove me to insane.

People stare.

It’s almost as if they care.

It’s like they know.

The secrets I can’t show.

The scars are easier to hide.

They’re buried with my pride.

Hatred turned into abuse.

Never to be cut loose.

Make this all a dream.

No one hears me scream.

Blood shed by my own hand.

Waiting. Alone is where I stand.

I don’t need you to help me.

I just need you to see.

I’m not at all insane.

I enjoy this pain.
