Forever's A Mistake

Forever's A Mistake

A Poem by WynterPhoenix

Counterfeit speeches.

Told with a lying tongue.

Shameful allegations,

You remorse but endure

The repulsive accusations.

Fraud. Forsaken. Friend.

You were the fraud,

Me? The forsaken.

Friends don’t fib

To disguise their deceit.

Self-pity gets you nowhere,

When the world sees

Through your lies.

Wreckless chatter.

“Friends forever”.

Your words

Mean nothing.

False apologies.

Playful banter

Becomes you.

Only to you,

It’s not a joke.

Words scarred the hearts

Of many persons,

Why shatter

An object

That’s already

Broken?

Friends forever

In your mind,

In my eyes,

Forever’s a mistake.

I just found an icon over this somewhere, I believe, weird...lol. The flow of this poem is fast paced, the rhythm is hypnotizing. =] Sing another song, I'll listen in!
