Fairytale Reality

Fairytale Reality

A Poem by WynterPhoenix

Little girl reality,

Silences another’s dream.

She wants Repunzel

Golden hair,

And Snow White’s

Pleasant speech.

Prince Charming

Galloping white horse,

And a sunset romance.

All the while

Wishing,

For a

Beauty and the Beast

Dance.

Instead of

Cinderella’s

Happy Ever After,

She’s still stuck in

The step-mom

Sick chapter.

Little girl reality,

Silences another’s dream.

With Ariel-red hair,

And Ursula’s

Malicious deeds.

“Spicing” up the apple,

Another bites

The hand that feeds.

 In Peter’s land

Of make-believe,

Sprinkling fairy dust

In which to deceive.

From Aladdin’s

Flying carpet,

Reality gifted

Romantic sunset.

Little girl reality,

Silences another’s dream.

Upon her inquisitive beckon,

Another silenced scream.

“I’m late, I’m late,

I’m late”,

Little girl

Decided another’s

Fate.

Beauty and the Beast! I love that movie!!!!!! Great poem. Very intriguing. I loved all the use of the disney movies. Favorites! It was a mix between sad and happy, excited and calm. All swished together into a blam - thank you ma'am. Lol. It was very good. Truly and seriously! - A.E.S
