It's Not Nice When A Little Girl DiesA Poem by WynterPhoenixGod sent me here to you. Unaware of what you’d do. I wish that you could feel it too. All the pain you put me through. Neglected. Broken. Shattered up dreams. No one around to hear my screams. A competition or so it seems. Putting us both on separate teams. Throwing me around like I was your sin. Leaving scars and bruises, yet again. Cutting me deeper. Breaking the skin. Destroying me slowly. Until I give in. Tell me I’m ugly. Maybe it’s true. But don’t you remember? I look like you. Look at me daddy. My eyes are blue. Look in the mirror. Yours are too. But I have her nose. That’s all you see. Is that why you’re abusing me? For one day. Just let me be. Leave me feeling lost. Empty. Taking me back to yesterday. It’s not my fault mom didn’t stay. I tried to love you but you pushed me away. I’m not the reason your heart is gray. I know you wish I weren’t alive. But could you please, let me survive. You’ve already taken my joy for life. Daddy, I want to be somebody’s wife. Let me go. I promise not to run. Daddy, why do you have a gun? Stop it dad. This isn’t fun. --------------------------------------------------------- How can you live with what you’ve done? You’re in denial. You’re life is a lie. I see you daddy. You’re starting to cry. There is no need. Just say goodbye. I thought that you wanted me die. © 2011 WynterPhoenixReviews
