                     Whispers On The Wind

If I am ever gone from you and never say goodbye,

Promise not to mourn my life and promise not to cry.

Think of me with fondness of days not so long ago,

Of happy times and laughter shared and things we weren’t to know.

For when my heart stops beating and in the ground I lie,

I hope that you are proud of me enough to make you smile.

Should you ever miss me know I won’t be far away,

For I am in your heart always and forever there I’ll stay.

I’ll be the sun to warm your skin and through the rain I’ll sing,

Sending you a loving kiss through Whispers On The Wind.

This was beautiful. What a loving thing to write. Like a letter found neatly tucked away after a loved one passes. Simply beautiful.
