A Poem by CrucifixFringe

a spotlight reveals

wonders,

dancing and glittering

unraveling in swirls,

one lost in their own world,

entranced

entranced

as colors bright,

a parade of one

dominating the night.

This reminds me of the time I was watching my sister at the dance recital, and she completely lost it. her eyes were closed, her body flew around the stage, and she was in perfect synchronization with the music. It was very moving, very powerful, and this poem made me wonder what she might have been experiencing on stage.

You have a lot of skill with imagery. I think if you just expand your writing and say a little more you'll have perfection. But I like your style a lot. Another great write :)

On to my second review... this is gonna be a good one!

The GOOD: Everything. I've found this to be particularly intriguing. I like the imagery and symbolism behind the poem. Very nice. Even the grammar was perfect. Great Job!

The BAD: None. Again, wonderful job!

I rate this a 100/100. This is one of my favorite poems on writerscafe so far!
