Hmm...
It's funny, because when I was reading this, all I could think of was - "true love is always blind".
Maybe that doesn't go for everyone, but it should.
If you truly love someone, than maybe instead of focusing all of your mate's flaws, you should just see & embrace what you do infact love about that person.
Although that doesn't always work.
"' Yada, yada, yada"
Anyway,
I like this piece, it's oh-so-true, our hate for one another often ends up over powering our love...
So instead of just the usual " I'll love you forever & always" poems, I got to read something a little different.
hmm...funny, sad but true...at least for me, i know its true....love is supposed to be blind rite? i guess it always is, in the beginning at least, when everything is rosy and beautiful....but then, as we settle down and learn more about the other, the ugliness makes an appearance and sometimes, its too late to turn back!
great piece of work here...no rhyme no rhythm...but well written.
Sad, but true in a lot of relationships. All in all, you conveyed this very well. It could be a little longer, but I think the length it is fine. And I'm glad you didn't follow any poetic form. Sometimes we just need to break the rules and explore.
