when my sky was grey

when i had nowhere to stay

You come along,
when i lost all hope
You come along,
when I won't fend no more

You come along,
all you say is i want to be friends,
You come along,
and my emotions, why dont they just end,

You come along,
and take my hearth
You come along,
and my world isnt shatter, not by far.

You come along
And i know you will reject me
You come along,
and anything i want you to do,
Is you coming along, just to accept me!

I remember feeling like this once upon a time. More than once actually. Ah those loves of youth gone past. Life did not turn out the way I desired it to be but I think I get the better deal in the long run.

As for this poem, it is nicely worded, and it seems heartfelt. The desire to be accepted, loved, cherished and wanted is something we all feel. Human beings want to belong, no matter what they may pretend.
