Chapter 17

Chapter 17

A Chapter by Black

~POV Lizzy Sulivain~

Where the hell is she?  She is gone all day already.I take out my athame, my pendel and my chart of the village Oreando. Let’s see if I can locate her now. Which i wasn’t able to do last night. If I’m even a little bit of the trained witch i thought i was. I would be able to locate her.

I put my athame on the chart and chant a few words.

‘’Show me, what I’m looking for’’

I take away the knife and take my pendle in my hands. These actions would seems weird for a average witch, but i put a safety lock on my chart. So no one could use it to look what i was looking for, without my words and my athame.

I lift up the pendle and think about Kathy.  It hurls above the chart, but after a while i get tired. How can it be she is so impossible to track down?

I try once again. It just keeps floating, or just pulls down on the edge of the chart.

I decide to try it one last time. I really feel like I’m just an average witch. Though I’m not. I put all my thoughts in it, and try again. Finally I’m able to locate little catherine. Well, she isn’t little anymore. So Kathy, that is what she wanted to be called. I wonder why she just changed her name.

I look down on the chart. Hm, how could i not have known? The little lake that i loved going with her when she was little. It would have been drawing her, whenever she felt unsafe.

I sit down with a sigh of relief. Atleast she is safe. That was all i cared about. I always missed my little niece.

My brother was just so stubborn. I tried to reason with him, but he wouldn’t allow me back. Just, just someone had to learn Kathy fend for herself. Now she was all unprotected. I couldn’t always do that.

Just like that time at the lake..

Huh. I see the pendle move. It is moving along, and going straight to my home.

Oh no, Kathy is coming.

I start to clean up. She can’t see this. Not yet anyway. I here the door open and I’m not even close finishing up cleaning.

A very good chapter. Adding witchcraft and mystery to the story. I like the internal thoughts. A excellent chapter.

SO'S WHAAAAAT?! Miss Sullivan is a... witch. Well that was unexpected, but greatly appreciated. this is getting better and better! I AGREE WITH AURORA LYNN. I THINK SHE'S GOING TO MAKE KATHY A WITCH. ~

She's a witch! That had to come in somewhere! Will Kathy find out? I really want to know more about what happened between Lizzy and her brother!

I like the idea that you are creating. The rush in the final part of the chapter is well structured. Just one thing that I would suggest working on, is instead of having many small paragraphs with scattered ideas, try having slightly longer, structured ones. A paragraph that can paint the picture (like in the last bit about the rushed clean-up) is more effective than many small ideas that have a vague link. But all-in-all good writing =]
