chapter 16

chapter 16

A Chapter by Black

‘’Well...well’’ i can’t help but stumble.

Man up!  Dad would say show no weakness and what am I doing now? Being as red headed as I can be. Plus mumble!

I sigh and take a breath. There you go.

‘’Well, my name is Kathy, Kathy Bloom.’’ I say, see that is better. I think by myself.

‘’Nice to meet you Kathy! How are you doing? You seem to have left in a hurry’’

Oh, he noticed that. What a fool I was.

‘’Oh, yeah, I forgot to do something. So I had  to go. What about you?’’ I ask in return. Not willing to let him go of the hook.

‘’I wanted  to go to the garden around here. I work there, but it’s just such a beautiful spot that I like going there. I wanted to ask you to join me, but apparently you are already busy.’’ He says.

Is that sadness in his look? I must be mistaken.

‘’I could change my mind?’’  i say hesitatingly.

‘’Okay, let's go.’’ He turns around and walks away.

Leaving me the choice to walk along or not. Of course i’m going i say to myself.

After a few turns, and a half hour walk we are on the other side of the so called city Oreando. It’s more like a little town.

We end up in a beautiful little garden. In the middle is a bench. Just imagine any flower and it is there. The daisies on my right, the roses behind that, the sun flowers, the violets next to the sun flowers. Then on my left a big oak three.

It is the most beautiful garden I ever saw. Not because of the plants, but because of the utter silence that was there.

We sit down at the bench and just look straight forward.

‘’Kathy, it was right?’’

‘’Yes.’’ I say waiting expaningly.

‘’I saw you sitting with Liv just now. You should just stay away from her. I know she is beautiful but...’’ he says

I interupt him. Of course he thinks only about liv. How could i be so stupid. How could i think he would be the one to understand me? Suddenly I long back to my room. My safe place, and wish that last night didn’t happen. So without thinking clearly i jump up.

‘’I have to go finish what i was planning to do and don’t tell me who to hang out with or not! I can take care of myself!’’ I say harshly. Then start pacing away.

When i’m pretty far i hear a soft.

‘’Kathy that is not what i meant.’’ But i ignore it, to busy with thoughts. Of course he liked liv. Would i stay alone all my life?

Where should i go now?

The story got a surprise ending. Maybe. I like the meeting and the description of the location. A strong chapter.

Bloom should be capitalized, chance should be change, seems should be seem, lets should be let's, beautiful only has one l. Sorry bout that. :)
I think she took that the wrong way...she should have just let him finish...thought it through a little bit. Reading on.

Andrew seems really nice, though there's something about him that I don't quite trust... and Liv too...
