Chapter 12

A Chapter by Black

Chapter 12,

What the hell does she want from me? Don’t get me wrong, I ussually like people. Today I just can’t handle anymore suprises like last night.

Though thinking that I return her smile and say,: ‘’Hey you, what is it?’’

‘’Hey, my name is Liv. How are you? I couldn’t help but overhear your song. It is really good! Could you teach me like that?’’ she asks curiously

“Well i wouldn’t know how to teach it. It just comes up in my head.’’ I tell her, no way intending that I’m going to make a new friendship.

I wouldn’t want a new friendship if my life depended on it. Though I was never a loner, I didn’t have many friends. I just had study friends. Studying was important to me. Even though it were only study classmates, I missed them too. I probably would have to go to another school. My thoughts start to get darker and darker. Then she captivates my mind again with her cheerfull blabbering.

‘’I’m the head chearleader. Let me show you around in Oreondo. This small city, It is small, but it has alot of great places. What is your name anyway? I didn’t hear it.’’ She asks curious like i already told her.

No way i could deny her an answer.  No doubt that the day I’m rude to a chearleader. My life will be more a living hell then it already is. So I can’t come up with anything then answer her questions.

‘’My name is Kathy, Kathy bloom.’’ I answer her reluctantly.

‘’Well, Kathy, it is nice to meet you. Like I said, my name is Liv, Liv Olitar, and I’m going to show you around.’’ She answers cheerfully.

She takes my hand and drags me across the street. To a bar I didn’t even notice yet.

She buys two cokes and sits down with me on the little table centered in the middle. Everyone is staring at us. I feel like i’m going to blush, but refuse to let that happen.

She starts chatting and I really need to do an effort to keep my mind focused.

‘’So are you a chearleader, Kathy?’’ she ask.

‘’No, but I was a gymnist.’’ I asnwer truthfully. Not happy that an unknown person is digging into my life like it is nothing.

‘’Why were you never a chearleader. You look like one. There is.’’ Her sentences gets broken off and she turns towards the door.

‘’Isn’t he handsome?’’ she thinks out loudly

I turn around, curious which person she would think is handsome. Taking in account how perfect she is an all, and there he stands. The person from last night!

A very good chapter. I like the way she introduce herself and the simple discussion she started. A nice chapter. You need history and conversation to make the characters come alive in the story. You did.
