A lullaby

my personal favorite.. because i don't have a person like that in my life, i can't do much but wish others have, let me know if you guys have one, and who it is! if you get what i mean by it that is!

A lullaby

 

Lullaby that will make you sleep

A lullaby that makes you see

See the beauty of that one

That one person that sings the lullaby song

The song that is being sung

By the one that makes time

To let you hear the lullaby song

The lullaby with peaceful things

All the good things within

Plus the person who it sings

Don’t forget that he made time

To give you your own little smile

When you’re older and out-grown

Think about this lullaby song

It will always stay

Stay to be

To be as a rock in the storm

I really like the simplicity of this work. If I were to do something like this I might use more colorful and less general vocabulary but then again I am another mind. I love the last four lines. The repetition, to me, seems harsh but comes out to reflect the comfort of the piece. It does give me a comfortable and sleepy sensation.
