If

If

A Poem by SimplyaGhost
"

Needs work.

"
If you were an island I would drown you.
If you were the air I’d refuse to breathe the poison you leave behind for it can easily fool the blind.
If we were to dance I wouldn’t let a chance of romance catch our way I’d sway away from your existence.
If you were a drink I wouldn't even have to think to empty the cup never to let a taste erupt my heart.
If time moved so slow then I'd travel through the most vicious snow to get away from you.
If I were a song how long would I last before I’d lose my only chance to escape your hand I’d breakup your hypnotic plan.
