A Foot in the Hole

A Foot in the Hole

A Poem by SimplyaGhost

A door has been left open bitter sweetly it has spoken for words that cannot be broken. There's a foot in the hole you'd leave it to eventually take it's toll.
There's a fool in the show he's been playing it rather dull his voice is low the words only come out so slow, his choices could not flow in the foot in the hole.
There's a voice in the ear can you hear for it is not really there nor is it very far. There's shadows in the bowl as you eat it they scream in your dreams it seems they're listening for the foot in the hole.
There's a foot in the hole the shadows grow and spirits blow into the foot in the hole.
