Darker Than Dark

Darker Than Dark

A Poem by Blue Bird II

Its darker than dark,

and brighter than light.

Soon my blood,

shall ignite.

The scene of the moon,

and a gloomy night.

The darkness consumes

my every sight.

Over the oceans,

I clearly see,

the pitch black skies

enveloping me.

and it just might

fill my soul,

with a frozen blight.

I tread the sea,

surrounded by water.

With no one beside me,

the ocean's getting hotter.

Its as black as it gets,

I know I'll never forget

that its darker than dark,

it doesn't need regrets.

I liked your last stanza here, This is really amazing and dark. I like the words they are so powerful and real. Nicely done.
