Heart's Vows

Heart's Vows

A Poem by Bitter Overdose
"

To LM, for I'd never choose another. To you LM, and to the vows I'll never hear you say.

"

It so happens, when it does

That your decisions aren’t yours.

And I loved a man, as it was

But didn’t know which one for sure.

One said, “I’ll let you choose him, yes I will.

And though it’d hurt I’d love you still.”

The other said, “You are my love,

We were fated by those  above.

You are my moon, my oxygen, my all,

I will always be there when you fall.”

I chose the man of fewer vows,

Because his heart spoke, not his mouth.
