A Poem by Laura Tyndall

Little lengths of loopy liquorice
Wrapped tightly around her finger
The humorous menace
In her three year old eyes
Making me think
She was going to chew the whole digit right off!
Only stopping when she again realised
Her finger was underneath
The luscious red cherry sweet
Sticky red liquorice juice
Spread across her cheeks
Little Luna
Licks her hands clean
Whilst her eyes eagerly search the room
For more of her favourite treats
