Teenage Anguish

Teenage Anguish

A Poem by BiroPen
"

One of my friends was reading though my poems and he said that they were all depressing and that they should be called the depressed soul, this gave me the inspiration to write this very poem.

"

the mind so dark,

so bleak and lonely.

the heart it cries,

for its one and only.

the eyes they see,

a view so queer.

the world of war,

of hatred and fear.

the thoughts that spiral,

emotions changed.

their made up faces,

it seems so deranged.

the teenage years,

of stress, love and pain.

seem so distant,

yet close all the same...
