we will miss you sir

i wrote this for the best teacher ever who is leaving at the end of this school year to teach A levels in blackpool university. He took the whole of choir to paris to sing at disneyland.

 

It seems like you just got here,

When really its been a year,

You’ve left us all these memories,

and many will shed a tear..

 

We ask that you remember us sir,

When in the city of lights,

We know we will all remember,

those lovely Paris nights.

 

You’ve only been here a short time,

Just know you wont be forgot,

We will miss you dearly,

You’ve taught us all a lot.

 

But now its time to say goodbye,

the book has all been read,

This, now is the final chapter,

And many tears shall be shed.

 

We will all miss you sir.
