My MotherA Poem by Birdman313Dedicated to my Mother Julia Johnson who past away at 97 years old March 6th 2011 after sufferring with Alzheimer-Dementia and lived with me for the past 2 1/2 yearsMy mother has always been my best friend, By my side even when Alzheimer-Dementia set in. I think of my mother all the time, Reflecting on the past when she was in her prime Wishing she was still connected in her mind of yesterday, But then again she wouldn't want it any other way. I love my mother for what she did, Memories has gotten harder for her as a kid. She was there when I was sick and needed a hug, Alzheimer-Dementia is a disease that's a mind
numbing thug. When needed she made my childhood really fun, She was always full of laughter under the hot sun. My mother always put us kids first no matter what
it took, She was the greatest and that can never be in a book. I will miss her memory as the child comes out in me, She wouldn't want me to cry because of what I now
see. Dedicated to My Mother Julia Johnson who past
away March 6th 2011 you will be missed R.I.P. © 2011 Birdman313Author's Note
